Go West, Young Man!

It is this week that I say my good-byes to Turning Pointe Chiropractic in Lincoln, NE and a whole host of amazing patients, coworkers, and colleagues. This summer, instead my wife and I return to her hometown of Ogallala, NE where I will open up my own chiropractic center and she will begin work at the local bank.

Leaving is HARD! I have so many friends and family close by, we LOVE our house (which was just taken under contract this weekend), and it is just so hard saying good-bye to the many patients at Turning Pointe. However, the excitement of the new town, new possibilities, and really the thought of being a "small-town doc" really appeal to me. I can already imagine sponsoring a little league team, teaching a class at the community college, being involved in the many clubs in the community, and really enjoying my family...plus there is a HUGE lake. I get to live where people want to vacation!  (read more here...)

The Power Within

As a chiropractor, I am privileged to have seen the amazing power of the body's natural healing ability. It has healed infertility, "failure to thrive", depression, fatigue, and the list goes on and on. I absolutely love my job and how I get to see God's work in people's lives and health.
However, today I talk of a different power. This is also a post that doesn't have research to back it up - so if you were looking for that, click out man!

I'm talking about you BEING great....amazing...and as powerful as you are meant to be.
"Hell begins the day that God shows you all that you might have accomplished" - except from Og Mandino's "The Return of the Ragpicker".

Phew! We could end it right here and you would leave forever changed if you thought of that one statement every time you made a decision.  However, take things up a notch and read more here...
